A friend at work shared this recipe with me several decades ago and I continue to enjoy it. I served it every year at our family Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings instead of an overly sweet, canned sauce. The orange rind adds spark to the relish.
■ 3 cups of fresh cranberries, rinsed
■ 1 large whole seedless orange, peel ON, rinsed and quartered
■ 1 large apple, rinsed and cored
■ 1 cup of sugar
1. Combine all ingredients in food processor and process until relish consistency
2. Chill covered until ready to serve
Store leftovers covered in refrigerator for up to 4 days.
