Activities
Whether you're new to Valencia or have lived here for years, IWCV activities are one of the best ways to make friends, discover new interests, and enjoy life in our city. From coffee mornings and walking groups to Spanish conversation, book clubs, games, dancing, and travel, there's something for every interest. Most activities communicate through their own WhatsApp group, making it easy to stay informed and join in whenever you can.

First Tuesday Coffee
Start each month with coffee, conversation, and new friendships on the terrace of the lovely Restaurante La Pizca de Sal. It's a relaxed opportunity to reconnect with members, welcome newcomers, and introduce friends to the club.
When & Where: First Tuesday of each month, 10:30 a.m. – 12 noon

Let's Dance!
From Salsa to Swing, come dance with us!
Whether you're an experienced dancer or taking your first lesson, join fellow members for Salsa, Swing, Line Dancing, and more. New dance styles are added throughout the year based on members' interests.
When & Where: Our new Latin Dance meets Mondays. Additional classes are announced on our main WhatsApp group chat, where you’ll find invitations to participate in planning polls and discissions about new dance class opportunities.

For Beginners & Beginning Intermediates

Women Who Walk
*Please note: Our summer schedule*
Beginning Friday, July 3, through July 31, we will meet at 10:30 at El Corte Inglés, 27 Calle de Colón, in the sixth-floor cafeteria. (For reference, there is a Samsung Store at street level.)
We will not meet in August - and look forward to our regular walks beginning on September 4 - check the WhatsApp group chat for updates.
Every Friday - enjoy an easy-paced morning walk followed by coffee and conversation. Routes vary each week, and walkers of all paces are welcome.
When & Where: We typically meet at the back of the Palau de la Música (on the park side, near the fountains) at 11:00. We typically walk from 30 to 60 minutes, and there will always be time to socialize at a café afterward. Mahjong
Learn or play Hong Kong-style Mahjong in a friendly setting. Beginners are welcome, and experienced players enjoy regular weekly games.

Monthly Gameplay
Prefer a larger group? Join us at Taberna La Mora on the last Tuesday of each month for an evening of board and card games. Bring a favorite game—or simply come ready to play. We support our host location by purchasing their food and drink to enjoy between games.

Cultural & Historical Guided Tours of Valencia
The IWCV works with local presenters and guides to allow members to learn more about the culture and history of Valencia. We also plan fascinating day trips from the city to visit historical, agricultural, and recreational areas.

IWCV Fellows
The Fellows of the IWCV is a group for Valencia men, including the spouses/partners of IWCV members, current & former.
The Fellows plan many events and social gatherings monthly, including Happy Hours, new member orientation meetings, and other engaging activities such as padél, golf, movies, and Spanish practice.
