Neighborhood Amassador Program
Whether you are new to the IWCV, new to Valencia, or maybe just new to your neighbourhood, our Neighbourhood Ambassador Program can help you settle in, make friends and get to know your neighbourhood! Our Ambassador Coordinator will assign a member-ambassador to each new IWCV member – or to any IWCV member who requests one. Your ambassador will contact you, arrange to meet for a cup of coffee and perhaps explore your new neighborhood a bit, and do her best to answer whatever questions you may have about the IWCV, your neighbourhood or Valencia in general. And, once you have gotten to know your ‘hood, you are very welcome to join the program and become an ambassador yourself!

Member Recommendations
Our IWCV Social Chat on WhatsApp is for our members to ask for and give recommendations, to share resources in Valencia, and to chat. We have a robust list of recommendations in a set of Dropbox folders called the RECS docs. These include government agencies, medical, restaurant, personal care and home maintenance recommendations, and many more.
No Dropbox account is required to view or download these files, just click the link above. Using an Apple device? You can preview the document in Dropbox or download it and open it in Apple Pages to view or print.
If you have a recommendation, please post it on the Social Chat. When making a recommendation include the name, location (address and/or map link) and a webpage link to the resource, if possible. If you have any corrections, recommendations, or questions, just post them on the Social Chat.
