About The Event
Casa Caridad (the Valencian Charity Association) is a pioneering nonprofit institution that responds to the needs of homeless people. Created in 1906, it provides daily help to people at risk of social exclusion through different services developed by its team of professionals and collaborators. IWCW has supported Casa Caridad for many years, both financially and through in-kind donations. Please join us for a visit in which we will learn more about their needs and ways we can help in the future. Natxo Torres, a social worker at Casa Caridad, will show us around the institution's premises, explain the needs of people who come to the institution, describe how employees and volunteers work, and discuss the challenges they face every day. The presentation will be conducted in Spanish and translated into English.
