Tour of the Historic District of Cabanyal

Sitting directly behind Valencia’s Las Arenas beach, you’ll find the old fisherman’s quarter of El Cabanyal. More residential than tourist attraction, a walk around here gives a taste of authentic Valencian life by the sea. The architecture of Cabanyal is outstanding and ourEnglish-speaking guide, David, will explain both the architecture and the very interesting history of the district.

WHO CAN ATTEND:  IWCV Members, partners/spouses, Fellows of the IWCV and out of town guests with a maximum of 20 people, so book soon.

TRANSPORTATION:  Buses 93 & 32

MEETING LOCATION:

At the last bus stop on the 93 you will see the Malvarrosa Hospital and a promenade looking out to the sea.  There is a Pan & Company restaurant there and a children’s climbing frame shaped as a hippo.  We will meet by the hippo at 11:00am.

COSTS: 15€  per person
