MEETING LOCATION:   The British Cemetery. c/Santo Domingo de Guzman 5, 46017 Valencis

(Opposite the general cemetery)

COSTS: No cost. However donations to the Cemetery very much appreciated

WHO CAN ATTEND:  IWCV members and partners. Maximum 15 persons.

DESCRIPTION:

It is called The British Cemetery because it was started by the British and is on Crown Ground. It is an all religions burying ground, started as non Catholics were not permitted to use the General Cemetery.

There are 21 countries represented in the cemetery and a visit gives a good idea of the activities of the expats in Valencia over many years.

The tour will be led by IWCV member Pam Smith Bury who has worked for the cemetery for many years and was on the Cemetery’s Board.
