Tour of Olive Oil Estate Masía El Altet and Olive Oil Mill in Millena

We will start the day by catching the bus at Torres Quart.  

First we will visit the lovely olive oil estate Masía El Altet in Alcoi (1-1/2 hr drive from  Valencia), which is known for their quality olive oils. We will tour the olive grove and  taste their high-end Extra Virgin Olive Oils. This is a great opportunity to get the oils  direct from the producer.

Next, we will go to the small town of Millena (30 min.) to tour the olive grove, the mill  and see an "olivo milenario" (1,000 year olive tree). This tour will take 1.5 hours. Please bring cash if you are interested in buying olive oil. Credit cards are NOT  accepted.

After the tours we will have lunch at a local restaurant that includes salad, primer plato,  segundo plato, wine or water, dessert and coffee.

Who can go: Members and spouses/partners

Notes: We will be walking through the olive groves and there will be some uneven  ground, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Wheelchairs cannot be used in the  groves.

Cost includes bus, tours, and lunch: 50€ (Cash only, please bring exact change. You must pay before boarding the bus.

CANCELLATION POLICY: if you cancel your place(s) after Noon on 6 April and  we cannot replace you from a waitlist, you will be charged the full price of  the event. Thank you for understanding.
