About The Event
Valencia is a city that has evolved since ancient times, thanks to the waters of its Turia river. The orchards, irrigation ditches, and water mills all depended on the presence of water. Valencia has experienced significant urban growth since the late 19th century and continues to grow today. Water plays a central role once again. With David, our English speaking guide from Ars Magna, you will discover the well-kept secrets of its best fountains, including the classic ones with Italian influences and those reminiscent of the fountains in Paris. Additionally, more modern fountains unveil stories from ancient Valencian traditions.
ROUTE: We will cross Real Bridge and head for Glorieta and Parterre Gardens. After crossing Carrer de la Paz, we walk down Carrer de la Mar, finally reaching Plaça de la Virgin in the old town. The tour ends at the medieval Almudín Grain House at San Luis Beltran Square.
