About The Event

Today we are going to sample what can only be called the true flavors of Spain in the form of some of the best tapas and main courses from all over the country. We will go to La Casa del Tapeo, which is well known for its home-cooked, delicious foods at a very reasonable price. We will start by sharing 5 typical Spanish starters family style (Surtido ibérico (Iberian assortment, ham and manchego cheese), Ensalada crujiente con brotes (Crispy salad with sprouts), Croquetas de setas y jamón (croquettes – mushrooms and ham), patatas bravas, and Revuelto de setas y foi (scrambled mushrooms and foie)). Next, we will have our choice of main course, followed by coffee or dessert (please choose main courses & desserts for each person you sign up – yes, you are welcome to bring your spouse/partner to this luncheon!). Of couse, a drink (beer, wine, soft drink, water) is included, and the cost for all this is only €20 per person! Payment is in cash only; please bring exact change if at all possible.

3. Merluza a la plancha con salsa bilbaina (Grilled hake with Bilbao sauce)

4. Bacalao en tempura, con pimiento asado y ajomiel (Cod in tempura with roasted pepper, black garlic & honey)

5. Costillas barbacoa a baja temperature (Ribs barbecued at low temperature 10 hours)

6. Entrecote parrilla – salsa pimiento (Grilled entrecôte - pepper sauce)

7. Entrecote parrilla – salsa Roquefort (Grilled entrecote – roquefort sauce)

8. Sartén tradicional (habas, ajos tiernos, lomo, blanco y negro) (Traditional Broad Bean & Loin Casserole with black & white sausage and garlic)
