How to Spend Your Summer Vacation: Lifelong Learning

Please join Brian Davey, Senior Project Consultant at Girton College Cambridge, England, for an informative presentation about the Lifelong Learners Summer School Program at the University of Cambridge – Girton College (https://www.girton.cam.ac.uk/global-programmes/lifelong-learning/programme-outline).

What better way to beat the Valencian heat this coming summer than a week or two in lovely, cool Cambridge? This residential summer school gives lifelong learners the extraordinary opportunity to experience something of Cambridge student life in the context of a program specifically designed for adult learners from around the world. Course options include Architecture, Literature, History, Art History, and Politics. No grades or exams! Also included are excursions, guest speakers, two formal dinners, and even a traditional English afternoon tea. In the long summer evenings, you will be able to enjoy a gin and tonic in the English garden – or an English ale at one of the local pubs.

There is no charge for this presentation, but a small donation to the charities supported by the IWCV is very welcome.
