About The Event
This group aims to provide support and practical help for anyone managing a loved one with a long-term or disabling condition. We focus on mutual support, sharing strategies, and problem-solving to create a sense of empowerment and connection. Initially we will address issues related to cognitive and motor skill deficits from conditions such as stroke, dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, head injuries, and chronic illnesses. Topics will include practical support, caregiver CBT, and other relevant issues.    Â

The initial meeting will introduce the process and content for future sessions, along with a survey to address individual concerns and interests.Â
