About The Event
Today we will visit the Radha Krishna Hindu Temple, home to the Hindu Community that surrounds us. This is a spiritual temple providing a peaceful, spiritual place for meditation and offering prayers. Our visit will be divided into 5 separate sections.
First, we will be given a welcome speech about the temple. Next, there will be a question and answer session. Then we will then be treated to (and learn, with guidance) spiritual dancing. Fourth will be a 15 minute guided meditation to introduce us to the calming, peaceful spirituality of this lovely place.
All this will be followed by a typical all-you-can-eat Indian vegetarian brunch including Daal (lentils spiced with ginger, cumin, turmeric and other typical Indian spices), Pakwaan (crispy fried flat breads to scoop the Dal), Dahi Vada (white lentil balls soaked in spiced yogurt), Fruit Chaat (chopped fruits sprinkled with a special spice mix), Mango Lassi (a…
