2024 Writing Workshops with May Leong

FEBRUARY 1, 22, 29 AND MARCH 7

11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Have you been wanting to work on your writing but haven’t had the time or inspiration

to do it? This four-part writing workshop is for you. Designed for women interested in

writing, whether they’re highly experienced writers, published authors, editors and/or

just starting out, we’ll focus on having fun while writing and developing your voice.

During each session we’ll play with different forms of writing such as poetry, mind-

mapping, and other prompts. If you’re looking for a safe and supportive group to meet

with for writing, this is it.

An added bonus for this writing workshop – it will include a group coaching session, with

your own set of Planning on Purpose cards. We’ll do this in the first session and last

sessions to gauge progress.

Materials – Bring a pad of paper and pen or laptop for writing with.

LOCATION: Cathy Cleaver’s beautiful home at Avenida del Oeste 38.  It’s right between Muy Mucho and Mi Casa. Ring Buzzer #1 – It’s the first-floor apartment; walk up the stairs after being buzzed in.

We’ll have some snacks and light drinks on hand. 

COST: 63€ for all four sessions (includes materials, any missed sessions, and 5€ donation to the IWCV charities)
